Fire Safety Equipment

GENERAL

a. Positive pressure open circuit compressed air self-contained BA Set having safe working duration of at least 30 minutes and safety margin of 8 minutes on both type of apparatus. 

b. It is confirming to EN 137 Type-2 and bear marking of the same. 

c. The set operate efficiently in variety of harsh environment and capable of withstanding rough use of fire brigade i.e. hot, cold, wet, humid, cramped and zero visibility and is simple to wear. 

d. The weight and ergonomics of the set, when fitted with ancillary equipment is so designed that it is spread over the frame of the human skeleton, and doesn’t cause physical damage to the wearer and is comfortable.

e. It is as compact as possible with no sharp edges, burrs or protruding parts likely to be caught on projections and narrow passages.

f. The apparatus continue to function satisfactorily after being submerged in to the water to maximum, depth of one meter.

g. Breathing Apparatus manufactured in compliance with standard is marked with the trade mark of identifying the manufacturer on the apparatus and face mask and model numbers on back plate, face mask, lung demand valve and pressure gauge..

h. The total weight of set with filled cylinder is less than 9.5 kgs.

BREATHING APPARATUS CYLINDER:

a. Seamless, super light, carbon composite cylinder confirming to EN 12245, having 4.7 ltrs water capacity for 30 minutes set, filling pressure not exceeding 300 bar & duly hydro-tested to 1.5 times of filling pressure.

c.  It has approval from PESO, Nagpur.

d.  Have minimum 15 years’ service life.

CYLINDER VALVE:

a. The cylinder valve are both hand operated, but does not protrude beyond cylinder width, having safety device to prevent accidentally closure of valve.

b. It so designed that the valve spindle cannot be completely unscrewed from the assembly.

c. Cylinder valve bear mark of relevant specification and have approval of  EN.

a. The mask is made from silicon rubber.

b. The visor has optically correct full view replaceable Polycarbonate lens with holding frame with extra wide view and have anti-scratch resistance, chemical resistance and shock resistance.
